A fantastic blend of both traditional and modern architecture, Baan Jakawan is the ideal getaway for large groups of families and friends. Boasting eight guest rooms which offer neutral yet stylish decor, you'll find four guest rooms equipped with king-size beds, whilst three bedrooms offer twin beds, with the option to be made into a king, and one kid's room with three double-bunk beds. One bedroom by the pool is particularly large with its own living room and bathtub. All eight bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and dressing areas. The villa merges a myriad of spaces all pulled together by the Thai-inspired spacious open-plan living room complete with two sitting areas and a central dining table. You can gaze at the outstanding views of the bay from the fold-away glass walls of the living area, or hang out at the villa's outdoor spaces whose central focus is the gorgeous infinity pool, sun loungers and swim-up bar with an outdoor full kitchen plus grill and a large dining table – the choice is yours!

Why book: Located on the Eastern coast of Koh Samui, the villa is only approximately 10 minutes from Samui International Airport and 5 minutes from the town of Chaweng. Your stay includes the services of a chef, concierge, villa manager and housekeeper, as well as daily continental breakfast. Best infinity pool in town, lots of room for privacy and for gatherings!

  • Pool Area: 8.4m x 39.5m x 1.75m Infinity Pool with a separate children's pool. Sunbeds with umbrellas and 2 circular lounge chairs.

  • Dining: Private Chef is experienced in Western, Chinese, Asian, Vegetarian and children's dishes. Special requests can be accommodated (including special diets). Indoor and outdoor dining areas can sit up to 12 persons. Swim-up bar with dining area.

  • Kitchen: Oven, microwave, Coffee machine, refrigerator, freezer, rice cooker, blender, juicer, toaster, stove top (electric).

  • Entertainment: Smart TV/Netflix (living room); CD/DVD player; and Surround Sound System in all bedrooms. A new Sonos sound system has been added where it covers the whole garden, pool and living areas. Open-plan living area with indoor and outdoor sitting areas with ceiling fan.

  • Linen & Towels: Linen and towels are provided at the property. These are normally changed every three (3) days. If you require more frequent changes there may be extra charges. No laundry facilities on site, however laundry service is available with extra charges and must be paid at the time incurred or latest at the time of departure.

  • Other Facilities: Back-up generator; Safety deposit box; Hairdryers; Barbecue grill; Universal adapters; CCTV; Smart house; Table tennis; 2 massage beds; 2 lounge chairs.

  • Wine Cellar: Baan Jakawan comes with a well-stocked wine cellar that has a great selection of wine, champagne and spirits at great prices on offer to guests. In the case of events, guests are also able to pre-order larger quantities which will be prepared and ready upon arrival.

Weddings & Events

  • If the guest is planning to hold an event, such as a wedding or party where any pre-planning is required, guest needs to pay USD 1,200 + 7% tax as an event fee and an optional USD 600 + 7% tax for pre/post-event day event fee.
  • Where number of guests exceed 1.5 times of the occupancy of the villa, a security deposit of THB 100,000 will be collected.
  • Where number of guests is less than 1.5 times of the occupancy of the villa for small group events, a security deposit of THB 50,000 will be collected.
  • The villa can accommodate up to a maximum of 50 guests (combination of seating and standing).
  • Music and event curfew is until 12 midnight only.
  • Kindly note that we are an advocate for the prevention of cruelty and ethical care of elephants and wildlife. We do not allow nor condone the hiring and use of elephants and/or other wildlife for any events held in the villa and in the immediate surrounding areas of the villa i.e. beach.
  • Fireworks are not allowed due to safety reasons.
  • Sky Lanterns are prohibited by the local government in Koh Samui.
  • Event guidelines and an accurate quotation are available on request.

  • Extra Bedding & Child Policy
    • Extra bed is available at USD 50++ per night per person, inclusive of daily breakfast. Note: The maximum occupancy is 14 adults and 6 children/kids.
    • Child under 2 years old can stay for free when sharing existing bedding with parents.
    • A baby cot and 2 high chairs are available for free upon request. Advance booking is required.
    • Babysitting service may be arranged at THB 350++ per hour and THB 450++ per hour after 8 pm. Booking in advance with a minimum of 4 hours prior is required.
