A study in glass, steel, wood and cement, The View Samui is like nothing you've ever seen before. Named for its breathtaking clifftop views over the Western coast of Koh Samui, this five-bedroom villa earns every single bit of its hype and stripes with its 180 degree views from each of its full length glass door bedrooms and living spaces, natural cliff face setting, bespoke children's accommodation, tropical garden, and ultra chic outdoor areas that even includes a pond complete with waterfall. Surrounded by lush greenery and soothed by cool sea breezes, this state-of-the-art villa features sophisticated sound and lighting systems, fitted speakers, indoor and outdoor projector screens, as well as custom-designed features including floating glass staircases, a resort-style kitchen, a dedicated massage sala, fully equipped gym and wraparound balconies. Did we mention a 16.5m infinity pool and jacuzzi, plus terrace, bar and more lounge areas? You'll also be spoilt for choice with regards to the guest rooms - there are two King-sized master suites that come with large ensuite bathrooms, whilst two more ensuite bedrooms are also double sized, one twin bedroom, and as if that weren't enough, a purpose-built children's dorm room that can fit three bunk beds and three pull out beds, or a King or twin. All rooms come with private balconies, floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors, remotely operated lights and blinds, a 32" flat-screen, cable TV, DVD player; internet access and iPod docking station, in addition to the central AV system feed. We are sure you'll never ever want to leave!
  • The villa is a sister property to The Headland Villas Estate, located on the Western coast of Koh Samui. It is adjacent to InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort, which features a beachfront restaurant as well as water sports activities.

  • The View accommodation can be increased by booking one or several of the smaller surrounding villas of The Headland. A combination of the View and the Headland is a perfect solution for very large groups, up to 20 bedrooms, plus the children's dorm in total. Booking the whole area is the convenient solution for hosting celebrations and gatherings.

  • Pool: 3.5m x 16.5m x 1.6m Infinity pool with shallow zone for kids; Jacuzzi.

  • Living & Dining Areas: Indoor: Living area with oversized sofa with pull-down screen projectors, air conditioning & ceiling fan; Mac computer with Netflix; Television & DVD player; sound system; Outdoor (by the pool): Living area with two sofas with pull-down screen projectors, fan, and sound system. Indoor dining area can sit up to 22 persons; Outdoor dining area can sit up to 8 persons.

  • Dining: A delicious range of Thai cuisine from the villa's suggestion menu, plus selected Western, Chinese, and grilled dishes, all prepared and served by the in-villa chef. Special dietary needs and children's meals available on advance request.

  • Entertainment: Media projectors; Apple TV; Google Home; Indoor & Outdoor Sound System; Board games; Mahjong; CD/DVD player; Table tennis; Google Play; iPod/iTunes collection of 40,000+ songs; Karaoke.

  • Linen & Towels: Linen and towels are provided at the property. These are normally changed every three (3) days. If you require more frequent changes there may be extra charges. No laundry facilities on site, however laundry service is available with extra charges and must be paid at the time incurred or latest at the time of departure.

  • Water Activities: 2 Kayaks (one double seat and one triple seat), Snorkeling equipments, and 1 Standing paddle board.

  • Other Facilities: Croquet; Cricket equipment; Soccer ball; Bicycles; Yoga/Muay Thai at the lawn/deck area; Spa sala with 2 massage beds; Fully equipped private gym; 2 hammocks; Back-up generator; Universal Adapter; Barbeque.

Weddings & Events

  • If the guest is planning to hold an event, such as a wedding or party, which involves having exceeded the maximum number of guest allowed at each villa, guest needs to pay USD 1,200 + 7% tax as an event fee with an extra USD 3,000 for security deposit and cleaning deposit of THB 20,000 (This is applied towards the costs of cleaning and tidying the villa after an event beyond the work normally required to clean up after a normal in-villa guests stay. This will be refunded if cleaning is handled by the event organiser).
  • The villa can accommodate up to a maximum of 50 guests with guaranteed seating (including guests staying in the villa).
  • Minimum stay of 3 nights for all seasons, except for Peak and Christmas/New Year period to follow season's minimum nights required.
  • Pre and post event day events are allowed and can be arranged with a separate fee of USD 600 + 7% tax.
  • Music and event curfew is until 12 midnight only.
  • Kindly note that we are an advocate for the prevention of cruelty and ethical care of elephants and wildlife. We do not allow nor condone the hiring and use of elephants and/or other wildlife for any events held in the villa and in the immediate surrounding areas of the villa i.e. beach.
  • Fireworks are not allowed at The View Samui due to safety reasons, however there is a possibility of doing it through the neighbouring InterContinental Koh Samui Resort whereby guest/event organiser is required to seek permission from the management of the resort.
  • Sky Lanterns are also prohibited by the local government in Koh Samui.

  • Details
    Rates include welcome drink, daily continental breakfast, gym, WiFi, services by villa team including villa manager, housekeeper, handymen, security (7PM to 7AM), and chef, and 1x roundtrip airport transfer.
  • Chef/In-Villa/Pre-Arrival Shopping Service
    • Chef or in-villa shopping service is available at THB 200 for each time. However, if goods are harder to source or required to be sourced from places far from the villa, the shopping service costs THB 300 for each time.
    • Please note that cash float (between THB 20,000 to THB 30,000) is required for all incidentals upon check in.
    • Pre-arrival shopping service is available at THB 650 or 20% of grocery cost as handling fee, whichever is greater and subject to 7% VAT.
  • Airport Transfers Inclusion
    • Rates for 4 bedrooms and below includes 1 x round trip airport transfer (1 van only for each way, 7-10 persons per van depending on the number of luggage and conditions apply).
    • Rates for 5 bedrooms and above includes 1 x round trip airport transfer (2 vans only for each way, 7-10 persons per van depending on the number of luggage and conditions apply).
    • Additional airport transfer service available upon request (charges apply).
  • Extra Bedding & Child Policy
    • Extra bed is available at USD 50++ per night per person inclusive of daily breakfast.
    • Under 2 years old stay for free sharing existing bedding with parents.
    • Baby cot provided free of charge upon request, and subject to availability. Advance booking is required.
    • Babysitting service may be available at THB 350++ per hour and THB 450++ per hour after 8 pm. Minimum 4 hours in advance booking is required.
