Villa Amanzi is a lavish hillside haven with fabulous views over Kata Noi Beach. Six ensuite bedrooms, friendly staff and plush indoor and outdoor living areas make it an ideal holiday escape for families or groups.

Amanzi is the Zulu word for water, an element whose restorative properties prevail within and around the villa: cool down in the 15-metre infinity-edge pool, enjoy a soothing massage to the sound of ocean waves or take a refreshing soak in the bathtub of the two master suites. The cool tranquillity is further enhanced by the trickling stone waterfall feature and koi-pond garden to the rear of the villa's living and dining room.

A holiday at Villa Amanzi could be spent in complete peace simply lounging on the comfortably furnished terrace, indulging in some in-villa spa treatments, or taking a morning stroll along the soft sands of Kata Noi Beach, a mere 10-minute walk away. The villa's top-notch entertainment system, modern kitchen, barbecue sala and glorious setting make it a charming venue for a getaway with friends too. Sports enthusiasts can play table tennis or pool within the villa, visit the estate clubhouse for its tennis court and fitness centre, or book a round at one of Phuket's top golf courses.

Villa Amanzi allows convenience to seniors and those who are mobility challenged, with a lift connecting the two main floors. Flexible bed configurations, and a good selection of kids' equipment make it a hit with large families. The ultra-private downstairs bedroom suite is attached to a TV lounge room with a rollaway sofa bed, while a cosy room on the top floor could serve as a multi-purpose room for massages or as a playroom for kids.

Among Villa Amanzi's staff is a charming and knowledgeable English-speaking manager, a housekeeping and service team, and 24-hour estate security. Meals chosen from a menu of mainly Thai dishes are prepared by your private chef, while more dining and leisure choices are just a short distance away at Kata Noi and Kata beaches.

DINING

Indulge your tastebuds with gourmet food crafted by your own personal chef. Dine in the privacy of your villa, with majestic views to gaze at. And if you want to try your hand at cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, our housekeepers will be delighted to assist you.

Villa Amanzi has a suggestion menu of mostly Thai dishes but western dishes may also be prepared on request. The villa offers a wine list, and the Villa Manager will be happy to take guests along to a local wine shop should you prefer to browse through the options yourself. Special dietary requirements are accommodated and can be discussed prior to arrival.

The chef takes care of the shopping and provisions are charged at market price plus a 20% handling fee. You are requested to provide a sum of money in advance to cover the grocery bills and the staff will keep the receipts for reference. To ensure the chef has enough time to prepare, you are encouraged to plan meals at least one day in advance.

SPA

Make your holiday complete with a revitalising spa treatment or relaxing massage in the privacy of the villa. The villa manager can recommend therapists for a range of treatments to be enjoyed by the pool in the open spa room or in the air conditioned comfort of your bedroom on a spa bed. Then release any remaining tensions in Amanzi's sauna, just a few steps away from the pool and spa room.

    Access to the nearby Chai Talay Gym at a special rate of THB 500++/day or THB2,000++/week. Gym is open from 7am to 7pm.

    Estate gym can be accessed by guests. It includes a Life Fitness treadmill; cross trainer; recumbent bike; elliptical; body-solid, and complete set of dumbbells. Open from 7am to 7:30pm daily.
  • TENNIS COURT
    Full-size synthetic turf tennis court is available for guest use at the clubhouse. The court is lined with Limonta artificial turf, an exceptionally high-quality turf found in world-class courts which bounces the ball like a real grass court. Rackets and balls are supplied. Please book within 48 hours of playing, subject to availability.
Layout
Spread over three levels, with spacious outdoor living areas and a pool extending from the middle level, Villa Amanzi is designed to maximise on the sea views. The villa's entrance is on the top floor, along with a covered parking space, foyer, first master suite and two guest bedrooms. Descending via the lift or the wide staircase brings you to the large living and dining rooms that open onto the pool terrace and barbecue sala. The second master suite and another guest bedroom are also on this floor, while the fourth guest bedroom and adjacent TV lounge are found on the lower floor. Another staircase from the dining area leads down to the kitchen.

Location
Peace and privacy are assured at Villa Amanzi, set within the secure and luxuriantly landscaped Katamanda Estate with unfettered views over Kata Noi Bay. The golden sands of Kata Noi Beach, one of Phuket's finest, are just 800m away, while the larger Kata Beach lies just a little further to the north. Both Kata Noi and Kata beaches are known for their lovely sunsets and excellent surfing conditions during the south-west monsoon months from May until October. Making the most of those spectacular views, some of the island's best restaurants have sprung up on the beachfront and headland around Kata Noi, while the resort town of Kata offers several more dining, shopping and entertainment choices.
