Philippines

6 rooms accommodations (4 suites and 2 classic rooms for maximum of 12 persons)

Overview

NoaNoa Private Island is just off the coast of Palawan in the Philippines, in Southeast Asia. The island is in Taytay Bay in the Sulu Sea of North Eastern Palawan. It is a beautiful corner of the world that is very well serviced by various transport options.

NoaNoa might seem remote but it is very accessible.

From overseas, you will fly into the capital of the Philippines, Manila. That's only seven hours flying time from Sydney, Australia. Under 14 hours from London, United Kingdom. A little over 12 hours from Los Angeles, California. Only a four-hour flight from Japan to Manila and just two hours from Hong Kong.

Then fly from Manila to El Nido airport which is a very pleasant 70-minute jungle drive to the coast at Taytay. Air-Swift.com is the airline for your one-hour flight from Manila to El Nido. We can arrange a driver to collect you from the airport. One of our staff will meet you at CasaRosa in Taytay for the quick speedboat transfer to NoaNoa island.

If you have a stop-over in Manila, the Aseana district of Manila is the closest collection of hotels to Terminal one. The Conrad is new and nice. The Hyatt or Novu (Casinos) are new, nice and even closer. The Henry Hotel is an older hotel with character and good price just toward Malate from the Aseana area. If you have a longer layover and like to be in Makati. The Peninsula Hotel is classic and the Sofitel Hotel has nice rooms with elaborate breakfast buffets.

If you are already in Palawan, you can fly from Puerto Princesa or Busuanga directly to Taytay Airport just three miles from NoaNoa Island. You can also ride in a private van the four hour trip from Puerto Princesa. There are public transport options in Palawan but they are inconvenient and not very comfortable.

The main house

The main house is a tropical mansion nestled in the rainforest right in the middle of the island with a pool and panoramic views. This grand tropical residence is built from solid local hardwoods, handcrafted in an artistically using local stones, luminescent shells and mosaic glass. Much of the main house is a spacious common area with high ceilings where all island guests are welcome. The great room features indoor waterfalls that flow into streams which eventually run down the main staircases. It's quite a spectacular feature. The waterfalls make aqua sounds that make you feel cool, relaxed and calm.

The spacious outdoor balcony at the Main House is home to a deep blue infinity swimming pool with 190-degree ocean and rainforest views. From there you make your way through the fold-away walls into the great room of couches and oversized lounge chairs, a card table, cocktail tables a custom carved billiard table then to the bar. Fans and lights are suspended from the towering ceilings and a soft breeze flows and cools. The Main House continues deeper into the mansion and includes five bathrooms, two living rooms, a bar and a dining area with seating for 10 – 18 depending upon your dinner party request.
The Master Suite
This beautiful suite is 64 square metres and features an eight-foot round bed set in custom timber cabinetry, enclosed in delicate netting flowing from a gabled ceiling high above. This special feature is complemented by his-and-her walk-in closets, his-and-her bathrooms, a shower room, a separate sitting area, five ceiling fans and air conditioning. Outside the six-meter sliding doors have an open-air shower on one side and a 2+ person bathtub on the other. Beyond is a garden, lawn and small deck overlooking the sea.
The Guest Suite
THE GUEST SUITE (58 sq. m.) is identical to the Master Suite with the exception of having just one bathroom and no ocean view from the bedroom.
The guest house
The NoaNoa Guest House sits overlooking the wharf and coral reef, across the Sulu Sea to the picturesque islands and escarpments of the famous Palawan. This island-style tropical heritage building is home to four beautiful guest rooms and suites. You may choose from the Jasmine Room, the Capiz Suite, the Ylang Ylang Room and the stunning Honeymoon Suite on the rooftop. Each is well appointed to maximise the comfort of your stay: king-size beds, huge bathrooms and stunning views. The Guest House is a short stroll along the edge of the rainforest to the beach and Sango Point where your meals are served. Far enough for total seclusion, close enough for easy access to the bar and beach.
The Ylang Ylang Room
The Ylang Ylang Room has a floor area of 32 square metres and is a picturesque corner room allowing for plenty of windows overlooking the ocean. The bedroom and the bathroom are of equal size – when you are in paradise, a large bathroom is a must. The bedroom has a king-size bed, full canopy net, writing table, air conditioning and ceiling fans. The veranda is part of the entry walkway which is very private. The bathroom is very spacious and has a long deep bathtub as well as a separate walk-in shower. Ylang Ylang is all yours.
The Jasmine Room
The Jasmine Room is 32 square metres and although this room is exactly the same size as the Ylang Ylang room the Jasmine feels smaller due to the floor plan and fewer windows. Overall, the Jasmine has a cuter, more ornate appearance. The room has a king-size bed raised up to window level, air conditioning, ceiling fans and a writing table. The Jasmine veranda faces the sea – it is small but big enough for two guests to enjoy the best sunsets in the Philippines. The bathroom is lovely, has a walk-in shower and separate deep bathtub. Enjoy!
The Capiz Suite
The Capiz Suite is 45 square metres and is also a corner room with an extra large veranda overlooking the harbor. You can actually watch the fish swimming in the corals from your veranda and you can choose between two sitting areas on the veranda. Heaven. Inside the wall to wall sliding doors, the Capiz offers a king-size bed with a full canopy net and ceiling fans. There is also a sitting area in the room and a large closet room. The bathroom is king-size too with a huge mirror, a long deep bathtub and a separate walk-in shower. Everyone loves the Capiz Suite.
The Honeymoon Suite
The famous Honeymoon Suite at NoaNoa Private Island is the penthouse of the Guest House and the most romantic room of all. It commands the entire top floor of the Guest House and is more than 120 square metres of island elegance. The indoor living has a roll-away wall which opens to the outdoor living room with a number of sitting areas. A full luxurious bathroom is attached to the indoor living room but French doors open onto the large outdoor bathroom suite, featuring a large octagon, marble bathtub with unsurpassed ocean views as well as a walk-in outdoor shower. You certainly don't need to be on your honeymoon to love this suite.
