Just like the scenery that surrounds it, the phrase that best sum up the interior of Gökçe, is grandeur on an impressive scale. The extensive, airy living and dining area pushes the boundaries of glamour, aesthetics and exquisite craftsmanship to new heights.
The land at Gökçe Gemile has long been home to a multitude of mature and productive carob trees, which are so productive we harvest the carob beans annually and make flour from them, from which we make biscuits, cakes and bread. We will be delighted if you wish to taste these goodies.
As we soon became very fond of these carob trees, we were determined to leave them undisturbed and make them an integral part of Gökçe Gemile. As a result, one of the many remarkable features of Gökçe Villa is the presence of a living carob tree, which adds yet another unique high note to the concept of bringing nature indoors.
Another highlight is the streamlined fitted kitchen, which combines elegance with functional understatement. Here, there is every facility required for family dining or entertaining on a more lavish scale.
On the first floor, accessed by an open-tread timber and iron staircase, there are two superlative master suites, both of which have en-suite dressing and shower rooms. The windows open onto French balconies and breath taking views of the splendid pool and manicured gardens with vistas of the sea, forest and coastline beyond.
Leading off the gallery, there is a large balcony, with a seating area perfect for relaxing, while contemplating the views of the swimming pool, gardens, forest and astonishingly blue sea beyond.
On the ground floor there is a spacious twin bedded room with an adjoining shower room, which also serves as a guest cloakroom.
