Poised amid olive groves, vineyards and citrus orchards, Villa Soderini sits at the forefront of Orašac village, only 12 kilometres west of the magnificent Dubrovnik Old Town. Like a breath of fresh air, its clean-cut, modern lines contrast the surrounding rugged slopes and the quaint ambiance of the village. Only a short ride from the dreamy Arboretum Trsteno, and even shorter from a spa day at Dubrovnik Sun Gardens Resort, this soul-nurturing oasis exists to fuel your wanderlust.
Back in the golden days of Dubrovnik, nobility cherished the beauty of this area, adorning it with their summer estates embraced in expansive gardens. But in the 16th century, the soothing air of Orašac also attracted the Florentine statesman Piero Soderini to take refuge here after being exiled by the Medici. To honour this historic episode, but also the longstanding passion for leisure, our private villa bears Soderini's name, but pampers its guests with a gracious hand of a contemporary host.
Situated on a plot of 1.000 m2, Villa Soderini features a large home, fragrant Mediterranean gardens and a tucked-away terrace lounge with a barbecue and heated pool. East-west orientation of the villa gets you maximum sun exposure and brimming sea vistas from all front-of-the-house areas and bedrooms. The ground floor with an open-concept kitchen, dining and living area and the upper level with four bedrooms comprise 300 m2 of interior space and come topped with a rooftop terrace. Eight guests can enjoy staying at this private villa, and 4 more can be accommodated on pull-out sofas.
The style of the Villa rests upon clean lines and bold details. Evoking Mediterranean at every corner, vivacious pieces of art compliment the modern lines of hand-selected furniture created by renowned regional designers. Inspired by the colour palette of Dubrovnik's 20th century painters, the interior of Villa Soderini subtly but persistently reminds you to enjoy each moment of your Dubrovnik holiday to the fullest.
